MJ musical legend
Michael Joseph Jackson entertained the world for a hell of along time. from his days in the Jackson 5 to the brillant solo records he released , the man was a musical legend.
I am not going to into his controversal past, because I think that it is the worng time to do so. lets just remember his brillant music, as he was the king of pop.He will never be replaced
Michael Jackson, not only changed the face of pop music, he changed the way music videos were done, and if that were not enough he was the best dancer of all time. here is an example of how he did this, and the video I have chosen is Smooth Criminal.
Now that Jackson has passed away, a part of our childhoods has past away, the man will never be replaced.
RIP Michael Joseph Jackson, you will be sorely missed.

Slane Castel.
This is just a post to register my disgust at Slane O9, It was not down Oasis, they were brilliant they played a brilliant set that contained all of the songs that you would want to hear them play and closed the set off with married with children.
The Prodigy were also amazing, much like the prodigy they played many of their hits as well a sprinkling of newer tracks, and the decision to round of their set with Out Of Space was an inspired choice.
However what was really bad about the gig was stunning bad organisation of the gig this year.
It took me over 20 minuets to get a beer, but I was lucky, as it took some people over an hour to get a drink from the beer tent. I know there were lots of people went to the gig, but the organisations knew how many tickets they had sold and their should have had more beer tents. I only saw two beers tents at the gig, their should have been a lot more.
But what made things even worse for the event was getting home from the concert, their was lack of busses after the gig the amount of people that were left stranded in the middle of Slane with no way of getting home after wards. The concert finished at 11:30 but I did not get home until half three. And wasn’t home in my bed till half past four in the morning.
I went to see the Rolling Stones last year and had no such problem. You could get a beer with no hassle This experience has really put me off going to see any one who is playing in Slane. I really don’t give a shit about who playing, even if they manage to resurrect John Lennon and George Harrison for a Beatles reunion I still wouldn’t go. Any body that I was talking to who as left behind at the gig have agreed with me. Even those who lucky enough to get on a bus were stuck there. when I got back to Dublin and I got in to taxi, the dirver asked me did he mind if he picked other people going in the same direction, I said yes, because after all they were in the same boat as me. when he picked up three people going in my direction on of the people who I got into the taxi said that they got on to a bus as soon as the gig was finsihed but were stuck on the bus for over five hours.
Agian I would like to stees that the music was brillant but the day was ruined by poor organisation of the gig. I have been really put off going to down to Slane, maybe next year I will clam down and I want to go along again, but this moment in time I really cannot see me wanting to head down to Slane Castel agian.

The Hangover review

I am just back from seeing the latest movie from Todd Phipps, the person behind Old School. The hangover tells the story of four men who wake up after a stag party in Las Vegas only to find that the room that they rented is in bits and the groom is missing.
The men set about retracing their steps so that they can find their friend and get back to LA for the wedding. What ensues in a comic roller coaster, that will make you laugh until your sides hurt.
Top to bottom this is an excellent comedy movie. It is extremely funny and not one of the set pieces miss the mark. Just when you think that the movie is running out steam, you are blindsided by something extremely funny. I am not going to tell about any of the set pieces, because the comedy comes from the surprise factor.
There are a few things that I didn’t like, which is to be to expected as no movie is perfect. But any of the things that I found flat with are really just me nitpicking and did not do anything to stifle my enjoyment of The Hangover
Anyway that concludes my short little review of the excellent comedy The Hangover, the only other movie that I can think of that has the potential to topple The Hangover as Comedy of the year is the upcoming Bruno Movie.
